Cookies are small text files stored on your device that help websites function and measure usage. "Cookieless" means a service works without storing or reading anything on your device.
This public website is essentially cookieless. We use only what is strictly necessary to serve the pages, plus Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, a cookieless measurement service that sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. Because nothing is stored on or read from your device, no consent is required under Art. 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (in Germany, § 25 TDDDG), and no cookie-consent banner is required or shown.
Our newsletter is powered by Kit (formerly ConvertKit). If a Kit-hosted sign-up form is embedded or used, Kit may set its own cookies to operate the form and prevent spam. Those cookies are governed by Kit's own cookie and privacy policies.
The paid CLAD membership is delivered on the Mighty Networks platform. Once you log in there, Mighty Networks (and its payment provider, Stripe) set cookies that are necessary to run the logged-in experience, security, and checkout. Those cookies are described in Mighty Networks' and Stripe's own cookie policies.
Because this website is cookieless, there is nothing to manage here. For any cookies set by third-party services (Kit, Mighty Networks, Stripe), you can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Blocking some cookies on those platforms may affect their functionality.
